Don't forget to change your second government reform from compromise with the nobility at some point if you're not using increased levies. Unless there is a reason for taking it anyway that I don't see because I don't play the game. :P

Maybe Austria was unwilling to join because Savoy would call in some HRE princes? They're allied to the Three Leagues. IDK. Probably a bug. Either way, it was probably a situation where you'd be able to call them in after declaring.

Inno + Offensive is my favorite idea combo if I'm not playing a more "specialized" nation (ie Muscovy or Castile). I am addicted to siege ability. I NEED siege ability.

i think the reason that austria wouldnt join against savoy is because geneva was co-belligerented automatically and was in the empire
