2024 Elections | Vote counting complete, verification process in progress

The Independent Electoral Commission says one ballot box has gone missing.

The Commission has completed vote counting and the verification process is now in progress after what has been described as a historic election.
According to the Electoral Act, the Commission has 7 days within which to announce the results.

Any interested party, including members of the public, independent candidates and political parties, may lodge an objection of any aspect of the voting or counting with the Commission by no later than 9pm today.

What’s the point of voting this way if even one ballot goes missing? The body in charge (IEC)should be able to prevent and control such essential tasks. It's infuriating and disheartening that a system meant to reflect the will of the people can be compromised so easily. This level of incompetence is unacceptable and shows a complete disregard for the integrity of the voting process.

kept out MK PA and EFF should
form a pact &approach the DA
pact & aim for keeping the
ANC as the opposition, with them sharing administration of departments Treasury presidency and Tourism etc
