Georgia election board voting on hand counting ballots, other rules

The Georgia State Election Board heard comments from election workers and others in the community on several rule changes that would affect the process of counting ballots in the 2024 elections. CBS News campaign reporter Katrina Kaufman reports.

why are they afraid to look at the actual votes compared to the electronics? Anyone remember the machines in Antrim County Michigan that switched the democrat and republican votes? Why is it unreasonable to have human oversight on the machines?

The people put you in office do your jobs and and let's vote right with paper ballots and count them that's your job otherwise all of us people ought to vote you the hell out of there for not doing your job properly

Used to hand count all the time in the past. We almost always knew who won before the end of the night. No excuses.
