Potato farmer Gary Kedwell's appreciation of the environment is paying off. 🥔🌳🥔

He's transformed 40 per cent of his land into an ecological zone, in turn creating a place of peace.

"Farming all can't be one way where it's all about production and taking things from the land," Mr Kedwell says.

This is the opposite of "Idealist" and shows practical Intuition confirmation of real-time Actuality.

"Virtue is its own reward" is one half of an absolute, functionally complete dynamic holistic truth.

Nomination for the award that means, best example of an all Australian Australian!

Is there a full video for this? What a valuable conversation. This has to be the future of farming.

This is great, I love conservation on a working lands! So many people think that conservation and saving mother nature is putting an area on a pedistal and never touching it. That misses so much of the nuance with ecosystems and is aginst humans. A landscape in harmony with humans and nature is great for everything.

Brilliant! More evidence that our belligerent old-skool farming practices, are not necessarily the best practices now, or in the future.

This is a great idea. To make farmers or these days companies set aside a percentage of land for conservation to offset the damage done by agriculture is a great idea.

It's called regenerative agriculture. You create an ecosystem that mostly sustains itself with little outside input. Instead of tilling the ground to death with monocrops, you rotate. Instead of plopping animals on one little lot and feeding hay all the time, you rotate them to different paddocks so they're moving and fertilizing the ground with their droppings, and the grasses growing are feeding them in return. Instead of razing all the trees, you position them so that they allow sun through to the ground to allow the grasses to grow and shade to be available to the animals. As the trees' roots grow into the earth, they bring nutrients from deeper down into themselves, then drop those nutrients onto the surface when they drop their leaves. Meanwhile, you get nutrient dense food from it all while maintaining proper soil health for your animals and plants.

It's almost like there is a natural balance to things that you'd wanna preserve for many reasons, rather than suck all the nutrients out of the ground with massive scale production and take off again.

To little way to late
60% of the worlds trees have gone . And we use to get 75% of the world’s oxygen from the sea that’s half dead now .
We passed the point of no return 6 years ago.

It takes a wise man a lifetime to grow a tree and a fool 5 minutes to kill one. Very wise words.
