I hope you know that the zombie apocalypse outbreak happened in 1945, and MotD is set on New Years Eve of 1933. It's stuck in a 7 second time rift, which is why you see the fireworks over and over again. Breaking the cycle sets Alcatraz into reality, fucking everything up.

Mob of the dead is purgatory for the gangsters. Seeing as they killed Al, they are forced to relive the experience again and again as punishment. Whether they finally break out of the cycle we don't know yet.

In black ops 2, every thing is gone.that could lead to a new map.the rift.trearch should make a new map called, The Rift, where you time travel along with the zombies each minute as you try to find Easter eggs to stop who really is in control of the three;maxis, richtofen, and Samantha to stop the apocalypse.then suddenly, the one in control does something to you after

That is probably why all of the perks look like a hologram or they flash in black and white every so often because MOTD is a tear in time where it keeps looping.

Yes because Satin or some other Hell related figure is controlling the zombies and keeping these four characters in this 7 second time cycle and they have to break it or go into Hell. I say this because in MOTD you are in the purgatory which is like the waiting room for Hell and if you don't break the cycle and you die, you go one layer deeper into hell. The portal to the next layer can be seen by the first wall hell hound thing that you open right beneath the floor. But that hasn't been confirm

I believe that the tribe/aliens that Richthofen met are somewhat involved as when you do certain things you hear chants from tribal people. :3
