This video is very much aimed at someone thinging of starting to turn on a wood lathe. I will discuss the basic tools required for pens, bowls and other projects, a brief look at tools and of course a bit of safety equipment.
It is aimed to help a new turner decide what equipment to get to make the projects they have in mind - I really hope it helps to point a new turner in the right direction. It is a scratch on the surface of the huge subject that we all love so much.

If you want to have a look at the kits we supply the link is here:

Great information that you don't get from many other videos, thank you

Thank you for these suggestions. All your videos are covering a very big gap, between now starting wood turners and the real close to professional wood turners.

Your polishing wheels jig is really a lifesaver.
I am definitely following you!
Thank you for your effort.

Objective achieved, Jon. This is a GREAT and comprehensive introduction to wood-turning. I wish I'd had something like this when I started. These types of videos are great money and time-savers. Great

Good video. Glad I found it. I’m looking at getting a lathe to start turning, hopefully to sell some bits.
