NTA Releases NEET-UG 2024 Results Amid Allegations of Irregularities; Focus on Rajkot and Sikar

Following a Supreme Court order, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the city-wise and centre-wise results for the 24 lakh students who took the NEET-UG 2024 exam on its official website. This move comes amid scrutiny over alleged irregularities, including a paper leak. Analysis of the results data reveals an unusually high number of qualified candidates from two specific centres: Rajkot in Gujarat and Sikar in Rajasthan. In Sikar, 149 students scored over 700 marks, 2037 students scored more than 650, 4297 students scored over 600, 6038 students scored above 550, and 8225 students scored over 500 marks. It is to be studied, how many NEET repeaters got above 700 and what is their 12th Mark and NEET Exam in their previous attempt (s).

Students who scores atleast 60% of marks or even more( if required) in higher secondary or equivalent examination, should only be allowed to write the NEET exam. Atleast this may reduce the number of students appearing for the NEET exam. Results should be only for the total number of medical seats available, like Railway reservation list, limited RAC seats etc., but no emergency quota😊
