Tinnitus Quencher 5000 Hz is noise masking that focuses around the 5 kHz frequency range with some adjacent frequencies at lower levels. The concept of noise masking is twofold, distract the mind from hearing bothersome sounds in your sound environment to relax or focus, and secondly for listeners with tinnitus, to distract the mind away from the ongoing sound in the mind. The sound need not be as loud as the sound in the mind. 20-30% lower will get results, so keep the level of this sound relatively quiet.
