To others, ‘together’ is just another word in the dictionary. But to Singapore, it means so much more. It’s the spirit that helps us achieve the impossible and the foundation that makes our nation unsinkable. Above all, it’s the belief that turned our little red dot into a giant.

This is why, this National Day, we are inviting everyone to come together and help five inspiring Singaporeans who are trying to achieve what others think they can’t:

Joel Seah, who’s helping youth in need; Sazzad Hossain, who’s teaching English to migrant workers; Sarah Pang, who’s fighting to play on the WTA; Peter Draw, who’s spreading happiness to children with art; and Lim Seng, who’s preparing to send the first Singaporean to space.


Let’s show everyone that in a world filled with walls, we will continue to live the only way we know how. Together.
