Nakawork ko ito si Ken sa Libmanan District Hospital as a Volunteer Nurse. I’m happy for him to reach the US. Kita kits sa North Carolina, mukhang mapupunta din ako doon. -Migs

You should have applied for FMLA Family Medical Leave Act while recuperating from appendectomy and at the same time apply for short term disability through your employer and not used your PTO instead. Depending on the terms of your employer you could get paid 65 to 85 % of your salary while on short term disability. I think you may get a retro pay if you would file one now. You may want to check your manager on this. FMLA is good for 120 days with proper documentation from your MD. Your job and position is secure as it is a law. In fact your other half can also go for FMLA when situations call for it.

Lots of critical thinking in ED. Need to be able to intervene in rapidly changing situations in a timely manner to maximize patient survival. You will be a pro after a few months. Good luck.

The more OT, the more taxes will be withheld. You need to be wise about doing OT. Health is wealth.

Worked in the Philippines 9 years (2007-2016) kasi nag enjoy ako masyado sa pagpaparty at paginum hahaha. Then, nag saudi for 6 years (2016-2022), then currently I am here in Canada working as an RN. USA is still part of my back up plan in the future. Totoo yung sinabi ni Nurse Ken, mejo nasira yung English ko din after nag saudi hahaha
