hey fns, lets just do watchparty prx games bro... its hurt watching you like this, only 1 month is though to prepare, your aim is just too rusty, watching him getting aim diff even with angle advantage is so so hurt, and must be pretty stressful for him too, if you want to comeback, atleast join in offseason bro...

Im surprise that alot of people are shocked to see how FNS is performing. Normally, this is just another day in optic. What really shock me is crashies and victor. Wtf happened to them? Was Yay really the glue?

Demon1(duelist+smoke)
Som(controller)
Fns(igl, sentinel)
Victor (secondary duelist+ flex)
Ethan( initiator)
A different coach
Might work

I just hope FNS and sam stay on NRG for next year, they gotta replace Vic and Crashies, Ethan is excellent.

Even though FNS had a rough game from a kills standpoint, he was not the problem today...

FNS and Ethan are the only players I can say anything good about these past 2 matches. Ethan has been playing a very solid game for the most part back on his comfort roll. FNS has been calling extremely well. A lot of his calls have been spot on but NRG are just finding ways to lose rounds that should legitimately be unlosable and its because of basic mistakes.

Lets list some examples on bind because oh boy were there plenty. There was one round where for some reason Victor rotated A instead of hard clearing lamps after G2 put up a lurk wall on A and G2 got a free site. NRG lost a round where they heard someone TP and instead of holding it or trying to fight it they just rotated off and ended up dying because they didnt kill the person in TP who walked up into showers and killed victor resulting in a massive loss of map control. There was another couple rounds where Victor Tp'd off A based on literally no info. I distinctly remember a round where s0m and crashies are holding lamps together and s0m just completely left crashies because one guy was flanking which Ethan was holding. Crashies died. They lost lamps. They lost the round. There was another round where crashies blinded through a smoke and swung into 3 players trying to delay plant when NRG already had numbers and guns and could just play retake. They lost a 4v2 when they had a vipers pit up and everything because they failed to fully clear site before attempting to defuse the bomb. The list goes on and on and on. Idk if FNS is calling these plays / rotates. Personally, I dont think so cause these just seem like individual errors. A lot of these mistakes also seem to happen during post plants and site takes which (based of NRG comms videos) FNS doesnt really seem to call (e.g. he is more focused on the macro calling). I could be completely wrong but these were also problems in split 1 which also lead me to believe he was not to blame for those early rotates / overextensions etc.

On Haven I think there were two major things that lost them the map. First, the deadlock pick was absolutely troll. Imo KJ is a better option. You could have a turret hold deep in either A or C long and still be agro while keeping map control. This way G2 cant just slow walk up long. Second, Victor died literally like every round while trying to lurk. Leaf was just owning him everytime. Victor is not built to lurk.

TLDR; The macro / calling problems NRG had in stage 1 are imo fixed. However, these individual mistakes are all problems that were present in stage 1 and are still present in stage 2. People not shooting back, failing to reclear space / being completely unaware of possible timmings, not playing well as a team (setting up trades etc.), overextending and throwing away numbers and more. The common denominator between split 1 and 2 are Crashies and Victor. They were problematic at the end of last season and they've been problematic all of this season. It just baffels me that somehow we are talking about FNS when he is imo very clearly not the problem. Next year NRG need to bring Demon1 back, keep Ethan who can play flex / initiator, keep FNS as IGL, they could keep s0m as smokes (or maybe get someone new) and then they need to find a 5th.

I can't stand this new nrg with wacky comps, when I think of nrg I think of proper default valorant when fns at the helm guiding everyone

FNS can’t talk shit or laugh about someone else getting pi or less than 10 kills bc every fucking match he’s getting less than 15 kills over the entire game of 2-3 maps!. Aka 3 kills in one map and like 9 in another map. That’s ridiculous. He was talking big shit on streams

not tryna single anyone out but crashies and chet needs some attention here hahah. just feel bad for fns

I really want FNS and S0m to at least get their redemption arc. I really feel like the issue with NRG is that there has to be changes with the other members, esp despite all the changes from Demon1 to bringing back an old IGL, it hasnt done them justice that much

This was the issue with FNATIC during champs. Boaster as a smokes kept getting killed first or couldnt even get a kill for a few rounds and ultimately the rest of the team wasn't able to win rounds. IGLS have to put up numbers. They have to shoot.

When he was in optics, him just being igl was enough, coz Yay was there to frag on insane level. FNS probly might be the best igl but when it comes to aim, he needs to practice alot

Valorant at the very top is that everyone needs to be firing on all cylinders. If one person has a bad game they just lose. Doesn’t matter if it is star duelist, flex player, or igl.

fns looking like a gold player out there, a sky peeked him once and he didnt expect a flash for the re-peek? additionally, why is he using deadlock to delay a push like a kj or cypher. playing deadlock means u bait the site by putting the wall as soon as they try to dash in to disrupt the rush and pick off, AND U NEVER PUT THE TRAP FACING THE ENTRY POINT, ITS ALWAYS THE CORNER U CAN ISOLATE A CONCUSSED ENEMY.

Why is this misconception getting spread around. FNS played 1 year ago and was doing fine, the only issue is that his entire team is filled with washed players. Crashies isnt a world class initiator unlike he was in the middle of last year, victor has been washed for a millenia, Som isnt doing well individually right now and will likely improve if he gets the time to, and only Ethan has been one of the greatest players in teh game since the 100T days(whether you realized or not).
Thats exactly what were seeing in every NRG game so far. Youve gotta have more than 1 reliable player or else youre just gonna lose at this level that every other team is playing at. even if your IGL is the greatest caller in the world it wont matter when the players cant take advantage of the strats.

As soon as I saw their Haven comp I was like yea GG go next these guys dont wanna win. How are you gonna play Haven without a Sova.

FNS, S0m, and Ethan signed until 2025, drop all 5 NRG coaches and give their salary to Potter, Jawgemo contract ends this year so go get him, and then pick up a recon initi player. Give FNS an entire offseason and you become a top 3 Americas team again.
