John Springate of the Glitter Band said it best in regards to the band being "guilty by association" and whether or not they knew what Gary was up to. He said, "No. There were two camps. He (Gary) stayed at the Royal Hotel, We stayed at the Holiday Inn...He drove to the gigs in stretched limousines, We rode in the tour bus... He made millions, We were paid musicians. We were NOT comrades or mates with the guy. It was all about HIM and We who had all the musical talent were left on the sidelines."

Честно говоря, до этого его не слышал и не видел. Только те пацаны которые занимались музыкой говорили есть такая группа Гарри Глитер. И то это было в 79 году. А увидел только сейчас в 2019году. Это явно перезалив.
Качество лучше в разы. До этого все мутно было. Походу это самая лучшая вещь.
Да в 73 году это звучало потрясно! Мне тогда только 7 лет было...

The real talent in this act were actually the Glitter Band who would go on to have success without Gary. Their careers were unfairly tarnished because of what their "Leader" did.

Such a great shame. Today he would been hailed as the ultimate hero of glam rock instead of being banned from every radio station. Have seen many glam rock reissues highlighting this genre and he’s not on one of them

If other artists who did wrong music still gets played so should Gary Glitters or the Glitter Bands music, just saying.

Such a shame he ruined his career. He was always a sight to be seen and turned out some great songs during his hey day.

Musically, the basics of GG songs followed the same pattern. That said, it was strangely addictive, in that it had a tribal beat to it. The Glitter Band outshone in keeping the initial riff going for sometime before Gary sang, thus building a steady attraction in us waiting for the song itself. This is particularly evident in songs like Rock and Roll pts 1 and 2. A clever use of hype for the main event.
