I love vocoders (and I have a number of really good plugins for doing it in slightly different ways) but I normally just use them on their own either to give a whole verse a stranger tonal character or to throw on a few words in between normally-sung lines.
Will have to give this technique a try.

I just fired up my old harmonizer I found on a discount table at the local music shop. I had forgotten how useful they really are.

Works wonders for the vocal track.
Since oder Herbie Hancock and of course Kraftwerk records we all know how cool vocoder are. They are wonderful for sound design.

One of my favorite vocoding lines you worked on would have to be "Collision" from download speaking of speaking of vocoding? it'd be a cool topic for you to discuss all three of your electrix modules, or any other effects modules of yours!🙏✋✌

cool deal! do you think if the artist themselves would have done in the track it would have been more or less effective? or is that part of mixing magick?

Can we know the artist yet? I’m in love with that vocal line.
