Luna is a well suited person for Ravenclaw she is a very good person who values knowledge a lot and like to have various unusual opinions and is open minded to new topics though I agree Hufflepuff would be a good second option for her as she is as you say very loyal and modest

Huh, I agree for the second house but think Ravenclaw suited her better, we are a sum of our experiences, not only our good ones, our bad ones too, they shape us into who we are today. If Luna was a Hufflepuff, there was a much smaller chance that she would have went with Harry to the D.O.M.
