Excellent to apply to the B section of Rhythm Changes. That tune like all jazz standards is a lifetime of learning. This makes our art form - jazz - so exciting :)

Great Job Nick! This really gets to the heart of how to use chromaticism melodically. I've been trying to figure this out for a few months and come up with a chord progression that will include all the tritone subs as well. It's quite a deep subject considering there are 24 different ways to play those 4 chromatic notes. Bach is just the 2143 pattern starting on Bb, but probably the most famous. Antonio Carlos Jobim uses it in the bridge to Meditation, but he uses the same pattern with a whole step between the 1st and 2nd notes in the main melody: la, sol, ti, te, la; A, G, B, Bb, A in the key of C. Thanks!

Great video as always. I like the idea of skipping like going from root to 5th then 3rd etc... that make it sound less predictable
