I’ve always wondered why its ability was to swap bodies. My best guess is that Polnariff has subconscious survivors guilt. His whole journey was to avenge his murdered sister, but his righteous heart deep down would have gladly trade places with her or any of the friends he lost 😢

I think chariot requiem had no paticular goal where it wanted to go to and if i remember correctly it just followed the straight road leading away from the coliseum.

I tend to think he was just walking away rather than walking toward a target. The last message polnareff had while silver chariot was transforming was to get the arrow away from diavolo. So it was doing that: getting away.
