I was a little skeptical of the open world, the combat, and the young Sherlock take — I genuinely thought they were going in the wrong direction — but after playing it for a few hours, I admit I’m wrong. The open world, not without its issues, feels vibrant and diverse, changing outfits up and down to get help from NPCs in different economic classes is very clever…. The combat is kind of gimmicky and repetitive, but nowhere near as bad as I suspected it was going to be. The young Sherlock character storyarc is very good. Introducing us to how he obtained his violin, his magnifying glass, and pipe are very touching. It definitely feels like it fits into the overarching franchise Frogwares’ has developed.

I see now. That's actually pretty smart, to let Jon be the one to carry out the Imagination sequence. He can see Sherlock imaginations clearly, and act like that's exactly what he saw too.

If you manage to get in the room where the medium is he would have been dead then you would have been able to discover some other things clues and whatnot and discovered that the current painter artist was the one that killed the guy a girl
