Time now to have a look at what's been happening in the world of sports.
Joining us in the studio is our sports editor Paul Neat.
Hello, Paul. Welcome.

Hello.

Let's begin with football. Son Heung-min ended his goal drought over the weekend, what can you tell us about that?

Yes, Son Heung-min came off the bench on Sunday to help Tottenham onto a 2-0 win over London rivals West Ham United.
Son came on in the 68th minute, replacing Richarlison.
And just four minutes later, he'd found the back of the net.
Harry Kane spotted his run and sent the ball through to Son who was bearing down on goal.
Son took a touch before slotting the ball past West Ham goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski with his right foot to make it 2-0.
It was Son's fifth of the season and first in the league since early January.
A dip in form had seen him dropped to the bench but he'll be hoping that he did enough to earn a starting berth against Chelsea this Sunday.

Quite the cameo from Son, then.
In other news though, I understand that Tottenham is calling for action after online racist abuse was aimed at Son Heung-min.

Yes, I'm afraid so.
Tottenham Hotspur released a statement on social media on Sunday night which said that the club was made aware of what it called "utterly reprehensible online racist abuse."
Adding that it "stands with Sonny" and "once again" calls on social media companies and the authorities to "take action."
The English Football Association also released a statement saying that it "strongly condemns" the racist abuse.
Tottenham did not disclose which specific abuse was reported to the authorities.

Let's hope something is done about it.
Sticking with football for the time being. The new K League season begins this weekend.

It does, and it's the league's 40th anniversary season.
It begins this Saturday at 2 PM with the champions Ulsan Hyundai taking on last season's FA Cup winners Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors.
There are some new rules too.
Clubs are now allowed to sign up to six foreign players.
They had previously only been allowed five three from anywhere in the world, one from another Asian nation, and another from an ASEAN nation.
But now, it's a five from anywhere in the world plus one more from an Asian nation in what's referred to as the "5+1" format.
Only "3+1" can start the game, though two other foreign players can be named on the bench and can come on in place of one of the starting foreign players.
Other fixtures to keep an eye on Daejeon Hana Citizen back in K League 1 after seven seasons in the second tier taking on Gangwon FC.
And Gwangju FC begin life back in K League 1 away to Suwon Samsung Bluewings.
We are also likely to see Hwang Ui-jo make his K League return after signing for FC Seoul.

Alright moving on to speed skating.
Kim Min-sun is the World Cup Champion.

That she is. She won silver in the 500 meters on Friday.
It was the final race of the season and her time of 38-point-zero-8 seconds and silver medal was enough to seal the ISU World Cup title.
She was only zero-point-1-2 seconds behind Vanessa Herzog of Austria who finished first.
Kim had won five golds in her previous five World Cup events and so missed out on becoming the first South Korean to win six ISU World Cup events in a row.

And finally, to badminton, Team South Korea finished runners-up at the 2023 Badminton Asia Mixed Team Championships.
Yes, indeed. Over in Dubai, Korea made it to the final but lost to reigning champions China by a score of 3 to 1.
It was split into different matches, men and women's singles as well as doubles.
The match Team Korea won was in the men's doubles with Kim Won-ho and Na Sung-seung beating He Jiting and Zhou Haodong 21-10, 16-21, 17-21.

Alright, thanks for that round-up, Paul. We'll see you next week.
Thanks.
