A workaround for earlier PD version users might be to use chroma-key if blend is unavailable. But this is something I might have a bit of an experimental fiddle with at some time, to see what I can come up with as a PD14 Ultra user.

Whilst I am stuck on PD 16 ( I'm 77 years young and cannot afford the upgrade) just spent several hours generating my new start #intro Text using your video.
