Appam is a popular South Indian dish, and today I’m going to take you through a simple and easy method that you can try at home

INGREDIENTS for Instant Appam with Rice powder
Roasted Rice flour - 1 cup ( can be used as patri powder, idiyappam powder)
Water - 1 Cup
Roasted Rice flour -1/4 cup
Water- 3/4 Cup
Coconut- 1/2 Cup
Instant yeast- 1/2 Tsp
Sugar- 2 Tsp
Coconut oil- 1 Tsp
Water - 1/2 Cup (if you are using coconut milk then first check the consistency of the batter then add water)
Salt
Appam pan
Fermentation will take 1-2 hours depending on the climate.
Chicken Roce Curry | Mangalore Special ಕುಂಕ್ಡಾಮಾಸ್ ರೋಸ್ ಕಡಿ | Manglorean Traditional Chicken Curry with Coconut Milk
Ingredients:
1 kg chicken, cleaned and cut
1 cup fresh coconut, grated
2 onions sliced
4 flakes garlic
1” piece of cinnamon
3 to 4 cloves
5-6 red chillies
¼ tsp [less than] Fenugreek [methi] seeds
1 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp Fennel seeds
10 [1 tsp] Peppercorns
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 lemon sized ball of tamarind
2 cups of Thin coconut milk
1 cup Thick coconut milk
1 Large Onion sliced
2 tbsp ghee + Oil
Salt to Taste
Tempering
1 tbsp Ghee
1 medium Onion sliced
