POV: You awaken. You don't know for how long you have been sleeping. Time doesn't matter for the eternal. You open your eyes. Endless white engulfs you, but it doesn't blind you. You don't feel cold, or warm. You just listen to the angelic choir around you. Their heavenly vibrations run through you. You are formless. Part of everything that exists and doesn't. Being anywhere and nowhere. You feel nothing and everything, for everything is you. You are sublime.

Imagine being a simple man in ancient times, who is just used to the sound of the animals, people, fire, tools... and then walking into a church and hearing music like this, echoing aloud through the chambers. It really must have felt like the sound of the heavens. Truly sold the whole "divine" idea to the masses. I'm not at all impressed people were so religious back then.

“Is it nice?”

“What is?”

“Basking in the white light as you live forever in eternal tranquility.”

“I suppose so.”

this feels like a beautiful sacrifice. Like being a martyr, and watching yourself die in slow motion, but with a smile on your face because you know you've done it for the person you love.

Who else instantly recognized the first piece as the helium balloon vine?

Hymn of the Cherubim is a great testament to Tchaikovsky’s mastery of pastiche.

Many people don't know that the high part in the Miserere is actually a mistake made by a transcriber long ago who accidentally duplicated the section right before it in a different key.

The mortals shouted as I fell to the ground, begging the heavens to not take me away. My eyes lost their shine, my skin loses its glow. The redness of my cheeks dull, as the blue covers my complexion. Maidens weep as they dress me, comb my hair, and place me in the bed of Lillies. My parents weep as they held my hand, begging me to come back. Sad lullabies and sunlight crept into the hall, as angels waited for me to say goodbye. My portraits were covered in white linen, as children dressed in black held flowers. The angels whispered in my ear, blessing my death as I can finally join them in heaven. The halo on the sky welcomes me, as I embraced my fate, ready to spend my afterlife in the gardens of heaven.

I hve no knowledge in literature whatsover, but this is the result of reading many historical stories hehe

I feel like any moment now I will grow wings, angelic white wings. I will open my window and simply leave this mortal world behind. I will fly through the clouds and above every storm. All my worries and pains left behind.

Misere Mei Deus reminds me of when I went to see Ghost. As they set up the stage behind a curtain they played this song over the PA. What an experience. Hail You, anyone reading this. Hail yourself.

POV:

25:24
After you finally finished the assignment you’ve been procrastinating for a whole week and turned in a minute before it was due, you subconsciously lean back in the chair but the chair betrays your trust and leans back more than you expected.
This plays in mind as you see your whole life flash before your eyes.

i feel like you walk in a bright hallway office like and reach a spacious office like room and there's a guy sitting on an expensive office chair, in the middle of the room, brightly lit. He said... " you're late to work"
