HTTYD ✾ Franchise [2018- B-days, 7K + 7 Year Celebration!]

Hello my friends!!

This is another annual all-in-one celebratory vid! First off, a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all my fellow July born buddies (in order):

Secondly, somewhere around July 1st, I hit 7K SUBS!! What is this a dream guys?? I never in my wildest would have believed 7 years ago I would have 7,000+ people following my vids! You are too much, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!!! =D

Which brings up the final note, tomorrow is my 7 Year Youtube Anniversary! Boy does time fly! I've loved every second being here and so grateful to each of you for your loving support and comments over the years. It means so much and I don't take any of it lightly! *hugs*

I hope to have a few more vids in celebration before I go back to school, but I couldn't wait any longer to acknowledge....all this!

About this vid:
So, after the release of the HTTYD3 trailer, I had the urge to make a heavily Voice Over, story mode video with the franchise so far. As you can see I played fav with HTTYD 1 taking most of the time...but in my defense, I DID plan it all that way.
This is still rather the short end of the stick of my goal. Ultimately I want to highlight ALL 4 shorts, and each TV series with greater depth, along with the 3 films, however, I will need more than one musical piece to accomplish this.

Even if you don't know Star Wars the Clone Wars, its still worth watching because the editing is soooo enchanting and so darn SMOOTH!!! Man I wish I could edit LIKE THAT! ITS SO GOOD!
I watched it before seeing that specific story arc in the show too.

Speaking of which, who is still in shock over the news they're reviving the show?!?!? AHH, I just got into the show over the summer and am so pumped! (Give me more Ahsoka, I love her now too lol!)

It's amazing how you match the scenes with the beat of the music, while using VO at different parts. I love how you not only used the films and the shorts, but also clips from the TV series. 2:26 "You and Toothless came together, for a very specific reason, at a very specific time." That line always gets me. 2:36-2:54 That is such a great highlight from RttE, and incorporating all of the struggles they endured.

And congrats on your 7000+ followers AND 7 year anniversary! Quite an accomplishment! I'm so happy for you, and proud to call you my friend! I hope you continue to be inspire to make some of the most beautiful and amazing videos I have ever seen! *hugs tight*

I have a pet anole lizard named toothless and whenever I start to watch httyd movies he gets mad I didn’t invite Hime to watch and starts bonking his head against the cage to tell me he wants to watch. So I always get him to watch with me and he never looks away from the tv, When toothless flys he climbs up my knee and jumps off with his limbs spread out like wings. When we saw httyd 3 and I cried at the end he got his lil hand and covers his eyes and licks me to tell me it’s ok. No one ever wants to watch the franchise with me but him. I love him so much.

ok so I'm 6 years late but I LOVE THIS! Especially the part starting at 2:32 with all the scenes from Race to the Edge. If you see this, would you ever consider making something like this again now that you have access to the full httyd 3 movie along with homecoming? I'd love to see one with the complete franchise!

On a real note though, the amount of time you took to use the perfect quotes, the digging deep into the shows for clips, and using a backround song with no lyrics, was a perfect idea, I love this so so much 😭🤍🥺

This thing brought me to tears... especially connecting HTTYD1 to the entire franchise. HTTYD will always be something special in my soul and watching this was like an integral part of me breathing to life again, finding itself again. I love how you gave HTTYD1 the spotlight in this, because it's the one that started it all, and as Hiccup says "None of it would have happened if I had never shot down Toothless in the first place." Just like if you had never made this account 7 years ago tomorrow, we never would have met you or seen all of these amazing videos you create! One single decision can cause a ripple effect that sends us all on an incredible journey.

This is absolutely beautiful and spectacular and I can't stop watching this. Although I do have to ask, why did you try cramming everything that happened in the TV shows into 30 seconds? I know the movies are more or less the most important part of The HTTYD Franchise, but even still, the TV shows had quite a few important quotes and a large number of MAJOR MOMENTS for everyone and everything that was happening then and after the show was over, especially Race to The Edge. We saw how Hiccup and Astrid became a couple, we saw Fishleggs and Heather become a couple (if only for a short while), we got badass quotes from Viggo Grimborn (who is also the best HTTYD villain ever!), we saw some major character defying moments, and much much more. All in all, quite a lot happened during the 5 year time jump between the first and second movies and the TV shows gave 8 epic seasons worth of HTTYD adventures to tell us what happened to help bridge the gaps and it kinda feels like you just ignored all of that and didn't include anything at all except for that one quote from that episode where it showed what would have happened if Hiccup hadn't shot down Toothless and it's kind of a huge bummer to me because I was really expecting more. Sorry if this bothers you but it just doesn't feel right to have this be a video about The HTTYD Franchise and not include a huge amount of the fantastic and awesome adventures that Hiccup and the gang went on as well some of the moments that truly defined who they were.
