Dekoor Close Harmony - MLK (Concert LUX)

Dekoor Close Harmony (1985) is a choir of 30 students of the Utrecht University in The Netherlands. Conducted by Christoph Mac-Carty the choir brings a mix of jazz, gospel and popular music to the stage, while occasionally experimenting with classical genres and world music as well.
In this video, Dekoor sings their rendition of the song "MLK" by U2. The video was recorded at the LUX theater in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

Dekoor is best known as the group that performed with none other than The Rolling Stones at Pinkpop Festival (NL) and Werchter Classic (BE) in 2014.
During their existence Dekoor has managed to obtain a unique place among the Dutch and international choir scene thanks to several other extraordinary collaborations and winning many prizes. Since their performance with The Rolling Stones Dekoor has also performed with Hozier and Damien Rice.
Their most prominent and recent titles are World Champion of Jazz (2010, 2012, 2014) en World Champion of Pop (2012, 2014) at the World Choir Games, Dutch Choir of the Year (2014) and Best Dutch Vocal Group (2013). The choir is well known in The Netherlands for winning the first Dutch edition of the popular television show 'Clash of the Choirs' in 2007.
