Sadly there's a good reason for both the Beacons and Snowdonia being aircraft graveyards. They were extensively used during the late world war for training purposes, being sufficiently far from the front line to be reasonably safe from the Luftwaffe. Unfortunately mountains, often cloudy or bad weather and trainee pilots and navigators make a very lethal

My grandfather built a house in Upland at the foot of Mt. Baldy largely out of rejected headstones carved in granite. The writing always pointed at the ground or else facing outwards. I can just imagine the face of someone renovating and seeing all the gravestone inscriptions!

What set off the poltergeist was the fact that Bill opened the toilet door without knocking while the ghost was using it. Bottom (no pun intended) line is: when a door is shut, always knock before entering.

The hellfire club in the mountains looking down on Dublin city in Ireland might make for a good episode, built as a hunting lodge out of prehistoric stone circle which was close by, later used by the hellfire club until it burned to the ground taking with it most of its members many years later.

As far as unusually high electric bills....turn everything off and watch the meter...if it's moving, someone is " borrowing" electricity from you . Then it's a hunt to find where....usually not hard at all.

I've been craving a good story and Rich, Simon, Andrew, and everyone else at BTS have once again delivered excellence. My heart goes out to the family of the homestead, and a rude gesture to the fool who decided desecrated graves would make for good building material. I've also noticed that psychics and ghost hunters tend to make things worse when they show up.

I live really close to heol fanog but i havent been because there are people living there and dont want to disrupt their privacy by just wandering around for a look at it.
