CONJOINED twins Ganga and Jamuna Mondal have finally found love - with the SAME man. The 45-year-olds who are known as the Spider Sisters have been single all their lives and suffered years of rejection because of their unusual appearance. But now they say they are happier than ever - after a chance encounter with kind-hearted Jasimuddin Ahmad. The twins, who share a stomach but have separate hearts, kidneys and livers, were born to an impoverished family near Kolkata, West Bengal. Their parents were unable to pay for medical attention and deserted them when they reached their teens, fearing they were a sign of God's fury.

The way they put on their slippers is stunning to me. (1:25) They do it so fluidly and methodically, it must be so interesting being so intune with another person! Their life is like a dance, and have to counterbalance each other forever. He seems like a really sweet guy. People don't realize this but there are plenty guys and girls out there who don't see looks as their first priority, they really just want to find a soulmate. I'm happy for them! And honestly I think monogamy is only one type of relationship, people just have different ways of finding what makes them happy and I can only feel happy for these girls and respect their decision to live their life to the fullest. I judged this man before he even spoke. I figured he must be some kind of sick fuck that wanted to take advantage of them, as if that were the only way he would want to be with them (a really messed up idea, on my part, I realize). But he actually seems like a very genuine, kind person, who seems to empathize with a struggle that they have no control over and who probably helps them to live the happiest life they can in a world where they're stigmatized. It's still very strange to me, obviously, but he seems to genuinely care for them... and as unusual as their situation may be, I'm glad that these women were able to find happiness.
