Κοίμηση Θεοτόκου Μεγάλης Χώρας Αγρινίου(Κοιμητήριο) Theotokos's Dormition Megali Xora Agrinio (Cem.)

Βρίσκεται νοτιοανατολικα του χωριου κι ειναι ο κοιμητηριακος ναος κι προκειται γι ενα απ τα πιο σπουδαια μνημεια της περιοχης.Στη τωρινη μορφη ειναι μια στενομακρη αιθουσα με 5 περιοδους στην οικοδομικη της εξελιξη.Σημερα ειναι μονοκλιτη βασιλικη που κτιστηκε πανω στ ανατολικο τμημα του μεσαιου κλιτους παλαιοχριστιανικης βασιλικης,ενω στην παλαιοχριστιανική βασιλικη ανηκει κι η ημικυκλική αψίδα που καλυπτει ολο σχεδον το πλατος του ναου.Ο περιορισμος του ναού εγινε πιθανως κατα το Δεσποτατο της Ηπειρου το 13ο αιωνα ενω κατα τον 16ο αιωνα αγιογραφηθηκε(σημερα σωζονται σπαργανα).Ο ναος διαθετει ξυλογλυπτο τεμπλο.Πανηγυρίζει στις 15 Αυγούστου

It is located southeast of the village and is the cemetery church and is one of the most important monuments of the area.In its current form it is a narrow hall with 5 periods in its building development.Today it is a single-aisled basilica that was built on the eastern part of the middle aisle of an early Christian basilica, while the early Christian basilica also belongs to the semicircular arch that covers almost the entire width of the temple.The restriction of the church was probably done during the Despotate of Epirus in the 13th century while in the 16th century it was hagiographed (today diapers are preserved). The church has a wood-carved iconostasis.It celebrates on the 15th of August
