When you get to melbourne, we down here in victoria will be having winter time nights and the odd day ( its officially autumn ), sorry about that, pack some colder climate clothes if you havent. Theres a free app called wikicamps, which might help you find a camp spot/van park etc etc, if you dont have that give it a crack. I have used it often on my travels. EDIT: most van parks have whats called an " ensuite site " which might cost more depending on your budget, but you will have your own personal toilet and shower room right next to your camper.
