I never expected them to be a couple and perfectly balance each other out as one. Trent is supportive, helps Eleanor grow in her pursuit of acting, and manages to give her what she wants such as them behaving like most celebrity couples, helping her get more work opportunities in acting, and him fulfilling her dream in how she wants to lose her virginity. Meanwhile Eleanor does her best to show her care towards him such as her concern whenever he’s upset, she accepts most of him such as his weirdness and being smart outside of academics, and Eleanor will also call him out on his flaws such as his selfish reaction to Paxton getting accepted into college. I saw how the other ships went throughout this show and I really hope this one continues sailing and that Eleanor’s dad and his gf accept him because he’s perfect for her much the same way she’s perfect for him.
