I’ll never stop calling them triangles

Looks like I’m going to save the money and skip woodpeckers

What’s interesting is that Woodpecker remakes (knockoff’s) old Stanley and other tools and somehow that’s ok, but when someone copies Woodpecker, it’s a knockoff.

The fact that people pay an exorbitant amount of money for woodpeckers is ridiculous. It's a fricking metal triangle with holes drilled in it.

So does that mean the Woodpecker version is an expensive knockoff of the Swanson?

Just because you over paid for yours doesn’t mean the other one is “fake”

Woodpecker was specifically made for YouTube woodworkers to be used as back drops. I don't think they are meant to be used in a real life shop setting.

Gentlemen, I own Woodpeckers products to be up front, my choice, and many other brands as well. I don't fault anyone buying less expensive tools, notice I didn't say "cheap". What I do find troubling is how so many people will easily buy from a country "China" that not only is determined to ruin and possibly overthrow our country, (their words not mine) and employ slave labor to make these tools just to save a few dollars. I get that China has overtaken many industries and it is near impossible at times to buy anything but Chinese made products, but doing so just to save a few bucks is very sad.

Square? That is a Triangle!
One angle at 90° and two at 45° ... Total of 180° = Triangle!

They are not "fake." Knock-off yes, but they are not branded as Woodpeckers or any other brand, they don't purport to be something that they are not, so not fake. Words matter.

Been using that amazon square for a while now and I love it, I have zero complaints. And just bought another

Never seen an offset blade that's cool.

A double and quadruple priced square vs a quadruple priced square where you can buy a more functional square at 1/4 the price of the cheaper one. Sales for idiots.

It's NOT a fake, it's just a different brand. A fake would use another brand's name or logo. Many of these items from Amazon are as good or better than some of the "known" brands having huge profit margins. Some (like my lithium tool batteries) are much inferior.

It isn’t fake. Learn the difference between a ‘knock-off’ and a ‘fake’
