I was there yesterday and it was definitely quiet compared to previous years. Regardless of such, it was really nice to be there and to wander around the convention halls.

It’s interesting how a lot of people automatically assume there is “AI” just because of the look of the “robot” and hyping interactivity when it is currently very limited. Limited self-driving cars on the roads today are way more capable than this “robot”.

Most of it are just baked animations and scripted sequences. Many video game “AI” are more advanced than this and we don’t see that level of buzz. This showcases the hardware engineering side more than its software.
