We’ve all seen and loved Fantastic Mr Fox, but did you ever stop to wonder about the real world of foxes? Well, the first thing I can tell you is that not all foxes talk like George Clooney. Just that one, in fact. But there are all kinds of different foxes around the world, and they live in a wide range of habitats - not necessarily just ones which allow them to go through your trash at night. A girl I used to work in housekeeping with ended up breeding fennec foxes. When she got her first one she'd walk around with it like a baby in a front-carrier on her chest. Said it was good for bonding or something like that (this was like 17 or 18 years ago. I can't remember the exact reasoning.) Baby was adorable 💖
