I was fortunate to briefly speak to Juranovic after the St Mirren game.

I wish I hadn't pointed my finger when I said, don't know what's going to happen in the transfer window, but your one of us and you'll always be one of us. If you do leave we'll all be supporting you.

As stated in the video, Jura was a great player for us at a time of rebuilding.

Hopefully, Juranovic's career continues to climb in the German league. HH

There’s a reason why we have a winter break in Jan, because the pitches can’t handle the weather. The WC caused this problem

I think Lawal should have been subbed on before the 86' min IMO. Great for him to get his debut but with the score as it was and the opposition, I think he could have been given 20 mins atleast.

Mooy is the man in the building.
A humble, softly spoken man.
And a mongrel of a baller.

Not sure about this format Hamish. We can all access the press conferences on YouTube/ Celtic TV. Hope this doesn’t become a habit as most of this is old hat for a Monday.

Question for Tuesday show with Scott and Asim; would it not make sense given that if GG leaves this week and we would have just 1 experienced striker in Kyogo for us to sign both Oh Hyeon-gyu and Wlodarczyk now so that are bedded in for start of next Champions league campaign

Top job. Yes, noticed the French! Good you're trying to raise the standards. Thought it was Stevie reading out that comment from Juranovic!

Union Berlin were indeed leading the Bundesliga ahead of Bayern Munich. BM is the richest club in that league and Union Berlin hardly have 2 pennies to rub together, so to be top of the Bundesliga for weeks was astounding.

15:00 Ange's motto is "we never stop". Im sure that holds true for personnel development, as well.
Ange will never be satisfied with what he has now. He will always look for ways that he can make the team better. That means signing the best young players he can find and teaching them how to play the game as he believes it should be played. That isnt to say he is going to kick players out the door the second he finds someone better, but it does mean that Celtic fans need to get used to a club that is constantly growing and building.

Guys like JJ, Ajeti, Jens, Abilgard (perhaps Giakoumakis too) were never going to be long-term solutions for Ange, because they can only play one position (fwiw I think Abada might face the same problem). Ange wants guys he can plug in interchangeably. In that sense, despite the fact that I think Cho is the better player, Oh might fit into Anges plans even more effectively. He can play on either wing as well as up front.

Point being ... Celtic fans need to learn how to kick back and enjoy the ride. Dont get too attached, -even to guys like Kyogo or Daizen. Ange no doubt loves them, but will always be looking for someone who is even better.

Are we actively looking to move on ajeti and Barkas in this window? Scared the living daylights outta me to think them coming back to paradise this summer window.

Where in the USA are you going Hamish? If you're in the Orlando area pop in to the Orlando CSC for the games.

Copy Paste
Oh, Hyeon-Gyu quicker more central player is not of the quality of Cho Gue-sung (having seen both play in South Korea) yet but Ange will make him of that quality pretty much same type of player, at least he wanted to make a move less of a Mommies boy. The rumour in South Korea (I live there at the moment) is Celtic are going to sign both players Oh and Cho Oh as Cho's babysitter even though they are of a similar age
Juranovic who cares, very good player in "first season" but a mercenary and have two better replacements that's up to him, we don't need to care any more as he is not a Celtic player anymore next.

I know it's early but Kobayashi doesn't look like an improvement on Jenz. Also not sure Johnson looks like an improvement on Juranovic either. Hopefully both go on to surpass both of them but not sure we exit this window stronger in defence. Likewise in attack with GG leaving. Hopefully we bring Oh & Cho if he does leave this window. Ange's goal is to exit each window as a stronger squad. Time will tell if this was the case after this window closes.

Hamish, can you mibbe cover some of the debate around the price Juranovic was sold at. Which is believed to be, at most, around the £10 million mark. If this is the true price he was sold at, it seems reasonable to consider that Juranovic has been sold relatively cheap. Had Juranovic played for an English premiership or European league club, he would have undoubtedly have had a higher price tag, which I believe would have been met by any club who really wanted him. I don't accept any argument that his value is lower because his plays in the SPFL. I believe his current valuation should be based on his World Cup performances, which have no bearing on where he plays his club football. My bigger concern about this is less about Juranovic, as I do genuinely believe we have as good if not better player at RB in Ralston, but my bigger concern is the precedent and expectation this sets amongst other clubs who are eyeing up our players and thinking they can submit low ball offers. I therefore do not understand why we accepted such a relatively low price for Juranovic.

I think Jenz is good enough and I think he would want to stay (if you see some of his media stuff) i think unfortunately for him its the business of football that is in the way for him in this case. Ange pragmatically has so many options and found another piece of business for much much cheaper in Koba
