Grad of 94. Why do I still go? Because when I go my life is better. I have the chance to be comfortable in my own skin. And finally, there is a chance to pass it on. To give it to the next person who's life is circling the drain. You never know what you might say that could have a life changing effect on someone else.

You’re totally correct. We all fight our demons on a day to day basis. I’ve lived with fluctuating levels of pain for forty years. There are days that I think…. nope I can’t do it. But you have your conversation with God and it does get better ❤❤.

Russell, I cannot say I am a fan of yours, I did not like your style of humor. BUT, I DO ADMIRE YOU'RE SUCCESS AND OPENNESS OF YOUR SOBRIETY. My wife's uncle was out with his girlfriend and driving drunk. He had a wreck and killed her. He joined AA and his wife (yes he was married when he killed his girlfriend) became leaders in AA and helped many people survive alcohol. My mother's side of the family is full of drunks and alcoholics and both my father and mother were alcoholics. Dad was a functional alcoholic and was not violent or drunk-driving. He drank at home and stayed at home.
I admire your attitude and I know you will help many, many other men, women and children have a better life.
