I had my book organized by color for a while, and I loved the rainbow aesthetic but then due to an unhaul my rainbow fell apart a little. Now I have arranged by genre and group them in what I think is an aesthetically pleasing way. And my top shelf is always dedicated to my TBR. (This reminds me I haven't done a bookshelf tour on my channel in a hot minute.)

LOVE THIS! I recently unhauled a lot of books and reorganized my shelves (by color!) I have a tall black IKEA bookcase in my room that’s solely for my blue and green books and it’s my favorite thing ever. I also have two giant black square bookcases that are each 3x3 cubbies lined up side by side, and getting everything organized on there last week made me strangely proud 😂

Same with me. I had a lot of books before when im.still with my parent's house. But when I moved to my own apartment, I downsized and even started living minimally so I only keep the books that I like and the rest are either audiobooks or in my Kindle. :)

Loved this video!! I organize my books by genre… and one side of the shelf is read books and the other side… if there is room is unread or they get another shelf or something. So like one shelf on the left side are all my read thrillers and the right side are all the unread.

I have separate book cases in another part of my house for all my classics and university books like my anthologies and such. And in my office I have two bookshelves, the same one you got from target with the open back… for more office type things and deco/organization

I’m building a library since I bought my own house. So I am filling it with bookshelves so they all look the same and the books will come… believe me.
