#NestCam and #NestDoorbell are designed to monitor what’s most important to you, and Activity Zones are just the way to do it. Activity Zones let you customize your locations in and around your home to prevent false alerts like moving trees and shadows.

Here’s how to set up your Activity Zone on your Nest Cam or Nest Doorbell:

1. In the Google Home app, select the camera you want to create a zone for and tap setting.
2. Go to Events ➡️ Seen Events ➡️ Add A Zone.
3. Touch and drag any of the points of the zone to create the zone you want monitored. Hit save when you’re done.
4. If you ever want to edit a zone, simply go to Events ➡️ Seen Events ➡️ the zone you want changed.
5. Tap the zone again and begin to readjust the zone.
6. Naming a zone can help you identify what camera is where. To name one, all you have to do is select the zone you want to name and click Name.

How can I get the camera to STOP reporting what goes on outside the zone. I do not need to know about every single person and car passing my house. I would like to know if they're in my yard or driveway. I set up a zone to cover the yard and driveway only, but I still get ~25-30 reports a day of things happening outside the zone.

@Made by Google  if I buy the nest cam now and then when the floodlight is available, can you connect physically the battery camera to the floodlight. Or if the floodlight has its own separate camera

Is the package detection only available on the doorbell and not on the cameras?

Yeah it doesn't help me guys sell defect to products but really does not work like I set up the zone I'm still getting false detections they're not even in the zone to detect it and it's still going on the 1st one I got was good till it got stolen cause you guys have no insurance they like what's the point of owning your doorbell whether it can get stolen from your major flaw and we get nothing from return Like at least what you can do Google it's give us a new camera
