Delhi Liquor Scam: ED Makes Another Arrest, Accused Money Linked To AAPs Goa Poll Campaign

The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Rajesh Joshi of Chariot Advertising in Delhi Liquor Scam who allegedly received payments from exercising in Goa Elections by the AAP. Earlier, the ED had made several arrests in Delhi's Liquor Gate Scam. The ED had claimed that Rs 100 crore kickbacks generated from the repealed Delhi's Excise Policy 2021-2022 triggered the Goa Assembly Election campaign of the Arvind Kejriwal -led AAP in 2022. AAP completely denied claiming that ED is acting based on the call of the Centre's NDA-led government. The ED claimed that the Chariot Advertisers were receiving money in cash which is illicit and illegal as well as used in AAP's Advertising in Goa Assembly Election Campaign. The ED grilled Rajesh Joshi on the Delhi Liquor Gate Policy Scam. Yesterday, the ED arrested Punjab-based businessman, Gautam Malhotra in connection with the money laundering in Delhi's excise policy that's used for the Goa Poll. Hence, the arrest became significant after linking it with the Goa Poll Campaign by the Aam Aadmi Party.
