FIG and IOC really effed this one up. I believe that the right person received the medal in the end, but the process to get there was absolutely unacceptable. You don’t give someone a medal and then take it away when they’ve done nothing wrong.

How do you accept an award knowing that the judges were in error on Jordan. You have to live with the fact that you really didn’t earn it. Your government argued that the score shouldn’t have changed because the 1 minute rule yet when evidence was shown, your government didn’t withdraw but preceded to be ok knowing you didn’t really win. That medal you wear is forever tarnished and you dear girl have to live with it
