heres a good one;
get to 76 magic. train crafting also to 76. make sure the xp is the exact same for both skills.
then use the spin flax spell to 99. make fucking bank and get two very useful skillcapes at once.

Tanning leather gives you more than up to 100k exp/h. I’m doing this method to 99 magic bit by bit and if I concentrate, I can get 115k exp/h . Also, if you’re level 82+, you can cast ‘Magic Imbue’ just before you bank your hides, hourly that gives you a few more thousand exp .Boosting it to around 120-125k exp an hour.

You could mention while barraging in catacombs you can use bulward shield spec for fast aggro all monsters.

mage is my favorite skill in this game, im still fairly new when it comes to mid to end game content. is mage viable in PVM and raids or should i just stick to range and melee??

Since slayer is now a very different skill than it used to be, you should easily get 99 mage bursting tasks if you do slayer properly. It's just the current meta of slayer to burst on defensive and easily get 99 mage.

Prossy is good to burst with in Catacombs as well since nechs have 0 magic defence so the extra prayer bonus can save u some prayer potions and on task bursting in prossy is even more viable due to the accuracy/damage bonus. However magic robes ahrims/ancestral will still be slightly faster xp (hope this helps) Good vid gonna use this to decide what to do 200m magic (prob burst and passive magic train)
