Wilde Sau - Zonk Mod Showcase

Everything is work in progress and probably going to change again, however I wanted to share the progress anyway.

Ypack 1.2.3 and the mods in this download will get you exactly this game version.

At the moment, our strategic bombing mod is named Zonk, because a Zonk describes me and my friends pretty accurately. A Zonk is a consollation price from an old TV gameshow and that fits really well to all of us, who keep screwing up. Whenever somebody does something stupid: "Typical Zonk move, lol"

For an eventual release of the 1.0 version of this mod, I am thinking to go for: "Point Blank - The Strategic Bombing Mod". Who likes that? :D

Its not too dark, its the way it should be. People turn off the lights...Hajo Hermann would love to see this. I ve been trying Zonk mod in my videos but the bombers are perhaps a litlle bit too tough, especially using realistic gunnery. At least for the 20 mm cannons.

I found this both visually stunning and accurate. I think Hajo would have been happy if this had been available to train his pilots. The rear gunner at 10:32 did not stand a chance

I used to love making a night bombing mission in the mission builder… pitch black, instruments only, and then that sudden sense of dread when the cockpit lights up from the spotlights… knowing the flak is about to get bad.

Wow, it seems a German pilot took a handheld camera and recorded his nigh fighting exploits! Outstanding. You can feel the intensity and uncertainty fighting in the dark.

Looks great! I love the radial engine sound of the FW190 and then the Merlin drone when you get close by the Lancasters! Excellent immersive mod!

Totally Awesome!! Makes one think how difficult it was in real live to have been in that bombercrews fighting to get there and back safely....and the lone nightfighter trying to save his countrymen and women from inaccurate and sometimes indescrimenate in the night sky!! Thanx for this vid!!

i don't recall who mentioned it, but all it would take is a single german round, whether a 20 or 40mm to cripple a fighter. a flying target like a bomber was screwed.

What mod did you use to get the moon and stars in the sky? I don't have that with the current YPack with Zonk mod
