I just got my q’nique 19 on tues and fully set up and ready to stitch last night. I finally got to where I could take her for a test drive today! I’m in love! It does make a beautiful stitch and only had a very slight tension problem that I didn’t even see until I remembered to turn on the light bar. Wow! That’s a lot of light! It didn’t take much to resolve the tension issue. I love the precise stitches but do seem to have some difficulty creating a smooth curve, but the more I practice, the better I’m getting. Honestly, even with that “coordination” issue, I love how it looks. It’s much better than anything I did by free motion quilting! I appreciate all the videos you’ve done about about the q’nique machine. I’ve watched most several times over the last few months. Thank you for showing us your first “awkward” stitching as well. It lets me know that it’s normal to expect some coordination issues as the machine and I get to know each other. Also, the off and on button is a loooong way away too! 😂

How wonderful!! So glad you got the 21. I was wondering if it was to big for me. As I’ve watched you on the 14+, your arms look sooo I cannot stand at the front of my 15 and reach where channel locks would be. I’d have to go to the back to set them on the 15. I think it would be impossible to time the 21. I wouldn’t be able to reach the back wheel and see what I was doing in the front. So, thank you for this video. I’m so happy with my 15R. I feel like I’ve been given an incredible gift to have a long arm. 😊 I know I can complete seven quilts for seven grandchildren this year....beginning to end.

Leah, Love the size of the Q21. I don't have room for one that big. Wanted to tell you the "replacement 15R I got weds night is terribly noisy and the tension dial set at just #1 is so tight it wont pull through easily and it breaks the thread. It seems to be a bad dial possibly. The bobbin winder wont fill smoothly and the pin that the thread goes around at the top was missing. Unhappy camper here. Will be calling them again Monday for help.

Hi Leah, I am only five feet tall. Is the 21 too big for me? Also, I have a Babylock crown Jewel on a Grace frame. I have had it about 7 years and am looking for something new. How does this machine differ from the baby lock?

Is that how you would test a bobbin that doesn't have that silver bobbin case?? My Janome doesn't have that silver bobbin case.
