In this video I got 60 kills with the MG42 while defending Omaha Beach. This match was quite insane, but sorry about the mass Discord pings I was getting at the end. I hope to make more HLL content with the release of U9 and beyond.

The really puts into perspective the big difference between Saving Private Ryan's Omaha depiction vs. reality. As realistic as the violence was the movie depicts Omaha as a small, cramped beach w/ bodies on top of each other. In reality the beach was extremely vast and soldiers were spaced very far from each other, but still very deadly.

I went to Omaha Beach a few years ago and it was at low tide just like it was on D-day and I fast walked from the surf to the German bunkers (they still are there) and it took me a good 3 minutes. So the landing troops were exposed for a long time dealing with enemy fire.
