Bless her. Her Grandma would be so proud she is going to University, it would have been so easy for her just to go into the influencer lifestyle instead. Good luck Eryn! As a 32 year old new Mum my advice for Uni would be, JOIN IN, there is so much now I wish I had participated in! I had an amazing time at University but definitely could have been more involved, I suddenly became introverted despite having a good group of friends. I didn’t even go to graduation, I got my degree posted & started travelling the moment the course was over.

I’ve never been called Babe so many times in my entire life! LOL! Eryn, this was so good and you’re right, hygiene products are a ridiculous amount of money especially women products with Pink Tax! So unfair!! Its so lovely you are taking us along on the ride with you and I love you VLOGGING!! You’re so beautiful btw 🫶🏻❤️

From the dental assistant in me: Please make sure you’re brushing your teeth with soft bristled brushes (I know that the medium/hard feels like it does more but it actually damages your enamel). ALSO electric toothbrushes are very effective at plaque removal and now usually come with a 2 min timer. How perfect for a college student!! Most of the students we see after they’ve been at college come back with a bunch of cavities. So brush and floss good!

Most importantly, enjoy your time at college lovely!

Eryn, I'm a college professor and my advice to you is to always keep track of your profs' office hours. Drop in to office hours and just get to know your professor. A real relationship comes in handy at the end of the semester when you're looking for extra help--plus you're going to need recommendation letters for scholarships (always look into scholarships your school has!). Another tidbit: I'm a super picky eater and will only eat philadephia rolls. Highly recommended! Yum! Have a great year, babe. You're going to rock it.

Eryn:

College was ages ago for me but here are some things you'll need.

Flip flops for the shower
A shower caddy
Soap holder
Tooth brush cover
Snacks. Check to see if your dorm has a community micro
Check your dorm's rules before buying lamps, but you'll likely need one.
I used cardboard-type drawers for clothes.
Crates, either plastic or fabric that fit under your bed will be great. I wouldn't leave anything visible in your room that's expensive. Dorm rooms tend to have revolving doors.

Girl...you're gonna do GREAT at college!! I'm probably WAY too old to even be watching your channel, more like Laura's age lol but I have been subscribed to her for so long and literally watched you grow up on here, so I have to support your channel as well!! I'm also from Alabama, unfortunately still living here lol but I love to see how much you have changed for the better since moving off and you have became such an amazing young lady, I know Laura & Tyler are SO proud of you!! Just know God will never put more on you than you can handle, It's going to be hard at first but you will get used to it I'm sure within the first week! Praying for your success and whatever you choose to do in this life 🙏🏻😘 btw.. I'm so glad you decided to come back and do YouTube. You have literally gotten so good at it. I would hate to see you leave us now 😫 but on the other hand, I would definitely understand if you chose to, as for now, I am here to support you and I look forward to your college move-in videos 🤩

Eryn - get your organization items at Dollar Tree girl, save your money! They have tons of bins, baskets, file folder holders, paper trays, etc. You could probably find most of what you need there! Good luck in college & don't be a stranger here on YouTube!!

You will be okay. You have that type of personality that everyone loves. I am so happy for you and hope you enjoy this time in your life. Enjoy it because it goes so fast. Being an adult is hard so live it up but please be safe. Also remember that Laura and Tyler will always have the best intentions for you. Can't wait to see your dorm.

College senior! Only school supplies you really need is a lap top, 5 subject notebook, and a planner! Also if you have a lofted bed, get a attached side tray to set your phone next to you :)

Wishing you a wonderful college experience, Eryn! 📓📚✏️ A big tip is to stick to a schedule, as cliché as it sounds. It will keep you from feeling overwhelmed, over doing and keep your commitments in check. Don’t forget to drink lots of water, take your vitamins, workout and rest. It will give you the energy and headspace to get through college. These are essentials 🆗👌🏻. Of course work hard, but don’t forget to have fun 🤩. Items that help to have in no particular order are: Extension power strip cable, shower shoes (flip flops), disinfection spray, small first aid kit, picnic blanket ( create a little outdoor study session or a place to eat/rest), bathrobe, room divider (if possible and you have room), light with a dimmer switch to go bright or dim, mini fridge, a small safe and lastly an e-scooter( to get around campus faster). All the best Babe 🙌🥳🤓📚✌️🌸✨

Yay Eryn! I’m so excited for you. I’m a sophomore in college and it is definitely hard at first but give like 2 weeks and you will get into the flow of things and end up having a blast! You’ll love the independence, making new friends, and having a consistent routine. Love you! You are gonna do great.

So excited and proud of you honey! I am onto my masters program in the fall and I am looking forward to it❤️ I hope the start of the semester is amazing for you! Meeting new friends and communicating with Professors the second you don’t understand things really helps. You are paying them to help you, so take advantage of that!

I’m so excited for you to make amazing memories in college. Everything is nerve racking until you actually start. These last couple of years you’ve grown up and figured out who you are & your pretty dope babes. Enjoy every moment. I look forward to your graduation from college vlog 💚

Hi Eryn! As a college senior I highly recommend buying a good computer instead of physical school supplies! A lot of professors require that you are able to download and edit documents, and I don’t know how every college is but I can say for mine that I have turned in every single assignment for my school in online since March 2020, even after we went back in person. English assignments in particular are required to be submitted online because they are run through a digital plagiarism checker. Honestly, a computer is the only thing you %100 need. I hope your college experience is awesome! Good luck!

For your Sophomore Year in College, you should definitely apply to be a Resident Assistant (RA). You get your own room! I did it for two years, best decision!!

You must be so excited! I love the Aussie hair products! I've been using their moist shampoo/conditioner and mousse for many years. It smells great and my hair is always soft. Also, Tone liquid body wash in Mango Splash smells amazing too. School supplies like note books, pens, pencils, folders ect are super cheap at Walmart right before school starts. They sell those black and white composition books and are under a dollar. It would be good to have one for each class so if you need to study a certain subject, you just grab the one with that class written on the front cover. Also, getting some small multi-colored Post It sticky tabs (or generic) to tab any pages you want to go back to for studying is helpful too. They probably have space saver things there as well for less. You might want to get one of those little plastic travel boxes to keep your bar soap in. It's easier to have them contained if you have to share a bathroom and take your stuff in and out.
