The South African government has noted the decision handed down by the Zimbabwe Constitutional Court, upholding the results of the July 30th poll. In a media statement, government has called on all those involved in the court case, to accept the decision of the court in order to work towards lasting peace and unity in that country.
Zimbabwe's Constitutional Court earlier declared President Emmerson Mnangagwa the winner of last months polls.
This as the Chief Justice, Luke Malaba dismissed the opposition's petition challenging the election results. He said MDC Alliance leader, Nelson Chamisa, failed to prove allegations of fraud during the presidential vote. The opposition cited discrepancies including incorrect counting, ghost polling stations and alleged that at some polling stations ballots exceeded registered voters. Joining us from Harare, Zimbabwe, is Sunday Times journalist, Ray Ndlovu.

Really bad for the poor suffering Zimbabwe people. We all know that zanu pf, zec and the court system are one corrupt outfit.

I think SABC has some stake in ZANU PF and ED deals because they don't talk about the pertinent issues ignored by the Judges and ZEC but agree to robbing the will of the people by concentrating on technical issues? What is more important the cause or the effect??
