Tamiya lunchbox RC Upgrades: Front Shock Upgrade

Today we are working on the front shocks. The wheels just hang way to low and causes issues when driving. I modify the front shocks (Losi xxx-T shocks) with a piece of tubing then we change the spring to a stiffer one. The end result is completely awesome. The truck sits better, looks better, and will act better.

The Tamiya Lunchbox is one of my favorite RC's. The way it acts driving and the way it takes a bashing just makes it awesome. I have bashed the crap out of this thing and NOTHING has broke yet after 3 years (knock on wood).

In later videos I will be modifying some new shocks to put in the back and then in another video, I will be installing a new waterproof ESC, a 2.4 ghz flysky RX, and a waterproof rx box. Stay tuned for those videos!

Current Mods to my lunchbox minus the shocks:
Bearings all around
Sport tuned motor
Traxxas 2075 waterproof servo
waterproofed axle/gearbox

What shocks are you using? I tried using some T4.1 shocks, but they're way too long . I guess i could try your method with the tubing and see if i can get mine to fit
