This week, I've been driving the new 2022 Buick Envision Avenir. The Envision is a 2-row, 5-passenger compact crossover based on the same platform as the Chevrolet Equinox and the GMC Terrain. There's quite a bit I cover in this video so be sure to watch it all the way through.

Have a 2021 Avenir for a year, zero issues built quality better than my previous Cadillacs, love the driver centric dash, nothing I can say bad about this auto, perfect auto, If you were looking for a sport model you would pay 10k more. Texted an RDX and got this

Let me know your thoughts on the new 2022 Buick Envision Avenir. What do you think about that cockpit-style interior?

Lots of nitpicking in this review. It’s an amazing value for the money, and a great design inside and out. This drives better than many out there too and is very comfortable. So many reviewers don’t understand that every car isn’t going to be for you but that doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with it.

I'm okay with the piano black, but the plastic controls that should be chrome on the steering wheel are pretty cheap looking for a car like this. Everything else looks up to par, but that steering wheel looks very econobox.

I have a 2022 st essence envision...love it...I also have a 2015 regal gs...outside of my regal being awd ..the envision is like driving a tuned down "regal suv"....without the sportscar feel getting in & out ...with a better infotainment center of course .

I bought my new 2021 Satin Steel Envision Avenir with Black interior a year ago and I LOVE IT . . I live alone and it works fine for me ( I love the way the dash tilts towards the driver ) I sold my 2017 CT6 which I bought new and never really liked. Before that I had a 2012 Enclave for five years, which I liked, but it was way too big for just "me". I've only put 1, 500 miles on my Envision this past year, so it's hardly "broken in" - which might be the reason I'm only getting between 18 and 19 MPG around town ( no idling, though ) Since it's been a year, the computer is telling me I need to get the oil changed ( first time ) which I plan to do this week.

Correction: this is based on the Cadillac XT4, not the Equinox. There are far better choices for families.

The Envision is an excellent option for an older driver (like me) who doesn’t need to haul passengers and cargo. Stylish, well equipped, good assembly, and a reputation for reliability. I’m on board and waiting for the mid-cycle refresh before I sign on the dotted line. It will be my first GM car since 1983.

Actually, it is the same car as the Cadillac XT4.

Typical GM. Awful wheels. Awful body panel gap variation. Ridiculous amount of trim. Goofy wheel arches that look like someone poorly measured the adjacent panel. Ug...
