I think that the stickers they have are done for realism. The cartridge would be stickered, as would the TV, if they were the real object.

As an 80s kid..I literally started crying when I saw this. Gotta have this!!

Having a decal for the cartridge was a good decision. It’s a nice nod to the original ones. The mechanism in the console is almost how the actual one is designed. Also, the “texture” on the left side of the front of the TV was where the speaker was. Remember that this was in the days of mono, not stereo.
As far as any expansions, Excitebike would probably be the easiest to do.

"Some more pipes there" is actually the 3 secret warp pipes at the end of 1-2.

If they make more sets like this, it should be expansions that have a level and a cartridge. They also should develop a stand for the levels

My friend and I used to build “computers” with LEGO. We would have my mom say who’s was better. The LEGO company just won.

I bought an NES off my bus driver. He knew that my family was kinda poor and all my friends had one. He told my mom that he didnt like me being out of the circle when kids would talk about their weekend playing games and what not. So he sold it to me for 100 brand new and I paid him throughout the school year. I also cleaned the bus for him just to be nice. This is going to be on my wish list for sure. Maybe I'll call up my old bus driver and see if he can help out once again.

I just love how you can put in games and stuff... I'm ordering a ton of pieces to make a ton of different game cartridges and making custom stickers as well... anyways, I LOVE THE REVIEW!!
