In this breakneck thriller from director-producer Michael Bay, decorated veteran Will Sharp (Emmy winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Candyman, The Matrix Resurrections), desperate for money to cover his wife’s medical bills, asks for help from the one person he knows he shouldn’t—his adoptive brother Danny (Oscar® nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, Zodiac, Spider-Man: Far From Home). A charismatic career criminal, Danny instead offers him a score: the biggest bank heist in Los Angeles history: $32 million. With his wife’s survival on the line, Will can’t say no.

But when their getaway goes spectacularly wrong, the desperate brothers hijack an ambulance with a wounded cop clinging to life and ace EMT Cam Thompson (Eiza González, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Baby Driver) onboard. In a high-speed pursuit that never stops, Will and Danny must evade a massive, city-wide law enforcement response, keep their hostages alive, and somehow try not to kill each other, all while executing the most insane escape L.A. has ever seen.

The screenplay is by Chris Fedak (Prodigal Son, Chuck), based on the original story and screenplay for the 2005 Danish thriller Ambulancen by Laurits Munch-Petersen and Lars Andreas Pedersen.

Rewatched this movie this year (2023) and in my opinion one of my best movies of 2022, hands down! The camera works like nothing I've ever seen before, plus a great plot and electrifying intensity, not to mention one of my favorite songs by Christopher Cross😊. Great job to Michael Bay (and the cast), you did it on this one sir👏🏽👏🏽

This is seriously an improvement on his previous action movies. I really like how he’s evolved his cinematic style. Plus the filters are no longer oversaturated. He’s been my favorite film director since I was a kid.

Just done with it. Normally i don't like Jake. He always plays like a sick psychopath. But in this one, he is brutal amazing and convincing. He did such a good job.

This movie is a solid 9/10. Full packed with action and a pretty good storyline. Nice drone shots. I think for action movie lovers, a must watch. Well done Michael Bay.

Just watched this movie awhile ago and it's suspense, comedy, awesome acting for both actors and actress. Must watch! I'm glad to chose this movie instead of watching a Morbius and Batman 🙂

Just watched this on Netflix and this movie is fckin good. Don't understand why it flopped at the box office. From the first 15 min. I could tell it was Michael Bay. If not for Netflix i would'nt know it existed. Great movie!
