My review of the new Trustfire T4. This flashlight has 5 modes, however with a quarter turn of the head, it can be set to have only a single mode (high) with momentary-on using a half press or constant with full press. Max Lumens is 1000 and max range is 384m. The light has a nicely focused hotspot and is designed to put most of the light on a man-sized target at practical distances. Heat dissipation is very good with this light. Possible changes or improvements might be use of a dual tailswitch, or addition of shortcuts for the flashing modes. I also recommend they include a battery with the light. The light has about half the max Lumens as some of the more expensive Nitecore, Klarus, and Olights I have reviewed, however it is also about half the price! (around $60) – a fair trade-off for anyone who does not want to go $100+ in this category.

Looks very nice. Been eyeing these new trustfires off. They are a legit company just there reputation was kinda killed by fakes. There genuine battery's were must haves back in the day.

Beam seams close to my 1700 lm Armytek Doberman Pro v3... Beam on this one maybe a little tighter...Better than my Jetbeam RF 28 1500lm...

Still am amazed at people's fixation on maximum lumen count. 1000 lumen with a focused beam is plenty for just about everything. My main interest is the lowest setting, which is what I use most. 5 lumen is fine for walking in the woods in pitch black darkness. It's more about longevity than dazzling brightness. Purple fuzzy blobs in your eyes ain't good at night.
