I have an Alesis Crimson II with Superior Drummer, and i think with any DAW, have problems with hihat.
The note assigned to open and closed hihat is the same, you can't map to recognize open or closed note.
Can play and hear sounds hihat perfectly, but when try to record show up this problem.
If someone knows a solution i will aprecciate if helps me.
I think with a firmware update will be solve this problem, but Alesis hasn't updates of Crimson module.

Would have been nice if more on how to do it and programming as I am having issues with midi play back sounding like a piano. Oh it is nice you can play drums but that is not what I watched this to see.

super easy! you just need a USB cable and it will record all the midi info perfectly into the computer! hahaha after hours of losing time I can only laugh..

Hi! I am trying to connect my Alesis Nitro Mesh Kit into EZDrummer 2 stand alone version. EZDrummer can recognize the alesis module. But it doesn't trigger when I hit any drum from it. Is there any resolution on this? Thanks!

how do you save the midi settings? i use addictive drums, and id rather not have to resetup the modules midi notes everytime I turn the thing on?

I connected them all and heard the sound of BFD player, but I can also hear the sound of default Alesis Surge sound along with the BFD player. I don't have this issue until now. Can you help me sir?

I am working with abelton and the same multipad and drum kit you have. The problem is that i need to assign new sounds for all off the pads and drums so how do i keep the original sounds of both instroments while recording in ableton. please help and thanks from advance 😄
