Finally I am done by connecting to on prem SQL through self hosted IR, few chalenges were there
1) I have created login using sql authentication mode - Object explorer > Security > logins > New login
2) Then allowed access from object explorer > right click on login created > properties > set server roles then > user mapping then > grant from securables
3) status should be on Grant for connect to database engine 🙂
